It seems to not be crashing before an entire map is through. If so, what can I do to make our server not crash like that?

Yes, that is hosted by NFO in Chicago.

Our server is crashing every hour almost like clockwork now, it actually seems worse tonight than better -- could be high traffic as it's Friday night but this is really causing me far more grief than I ever expected.

Same 13 of our servers have been updated to the 87884 (R4) and appear to be crashing even more often than last night. Extremely displeased to say the least.

HappyGotLucky, yes, all servers are running R4. We updated all of them at the same time, as required by DICE.
I very much agree that the crashes are very frustrating. I wish that this were something on our end so that we could fix it.

Our 64 Player(atlanta-icosa30-2) Conquest Large server has crashed 3-4 times since the R4 patch. Currently sitting at 28mins up time.
Our 32 Player(chicago-icosa30-6) Obliteration server appears to have been full and running since the R4 patch. Currently sitting at 6hrs 30mins up time.
Both servers are patched, it seems like the patch hasn't done anything for the 64 player server. :S

Just crashed 64 player server again....32 player still running fine.
Is it valuable to either NFO or DICE to keep updating this thread with when and how frequently servers crash or is it not really helping anyone? Is NFO just sending all crash logs automatically? Is DICE reading these threads?

Reading these threads? lol i doubt it.
I'm sure NFO is doing their best providing them logs as well as other GSPs

I don't think that DICE reads this thread, but we give them full access to all logs and crash dumps.

Sad to see that people think NFO is causing this. You will not find a better provider than NFO.

I really think these crashes have something to do with the EA backend systems somehow provoking them. Before they dropped this "EA Online" @ around 3:20AM PDT, all my servers were miraculously doing good - EVEN 24/7 Operation Locker! Then after, when EA Online was brought back up, all my servers filled all the way up then suddenly started crashing one after the other. I really hope DICE/EA knows where to look when trying to resolve these server crashing issues.

Server was stuttering like crazy for a hour just now. Didn't crash, but probably was going to. I had to restart it because it was so bad. Now there's no lag, but also no people

NFO is NOT the problem and unfortunately caught in the middle. The problem I have is the lack of COMMUNICATION EA provides us. We pay THOUSANDS of dollars for the service and we are treated like POND SCUM...
