Hi guys, so I'm noticing that when I restart my server it's coming up on MP_Siege which I don't even have in my rotation or in the maplist file. And further it comes up on ConquestSmall0 which all my maps are ConquestLarge0. The server slotting is either set at 48 or 64 players when it does this. So it restarts the server in ConquestSmall mode with a map that's not even in my rotation. My server settings are Normal, Official, CQClassic. Is anyone else having this happen? Does running the map preset call from another map file in the server before the NFO Mapcycle kicks in?
This really messes up the server and sometimes it gets stuck on that map for two or three rounds before it cycles out to a new map. And MP_Siege has huge issues so the last thing I want is to have that map coming up first when the server crashes or restarts!
I have all my maps set to run just once.

No issues with siege crashing, at least not since R6. However I do run a TDM server.

Cqclassic is a map rotation. It is meant for conquest small and that is likely what you are seeing. Look for the thread here about the vars .mpexperiece command i think John commented on how to get your own map rotation working properly with this command set.

is there a preset for Conquest Large?? If so I couldn't find it.

Create your own list in easy setup. Keep the preset on CQClassic. After the First two rounds or if you !nextmap twice it will start reading your custom list and still send the info to battlelog that you are using a preset map list so that you can still get the play now traffic.

I just ran Siege for the first time.
when the building fell at least 40-45 players were immediately disconnected!!
Server was fine, but is caused a lot of clients to crash.

Yup... there is a client crash bug that happens when the skyscraper comes down. Your best bet is to remove that map from your rotation until DICE releases a client patch that fixes it.Cain wrote:I just ran Siege for the first time.
