VDS sale

Post by Edge100x »

We've just launched a new sale on our Virtual Dedicated Servers (aka VDS or VPS packages)! This brings down the price substantially for some configurations -- a single-core Linux-only VDS is now just 9.99, for instance (a 33% savings).

The sale applies to both new orders and upgraded servers. So, if you've been waiting for the right time to buy, this is it; if you've been waiting for the right time to upgrade, this is it, too!

We recommend that all existing VDS customers use the VDS order page to update to the latest pricing now, even those who aren't looking to upgrade their server specs. Through our grandfathering program, the sale price will then be locked in for as long as the same server is kept in the same configuration.

Are you sure that you selected BF4 and not BF3?

Hey Edge, Would I be able to run 2 48+2+4 bf4 servers on the 3 core and should that be enough bandwidth?

I don't really recommend running BF4 on a VDS right now. If you do, you'll have to be careful and test your configurations well. We are guessing that 48 slot servers will work based on our testing of BF3, but that would likely be the very upper end for BF4, and only work if servers have their own cores.

What about 3 CS:S Servers, 1 DM, 1 GG, and one regular on the single core Linux? Or do you think that only 2 servers, one with DM, will work. I am thinking about switching to that if I can run 2 or 3 servers.

I would not recommend running more than a single server on a single-HT-core VDS.

Are we still able to take advantage of the lower pricing?

The linux only is still $9.99, so I think the sale pricing is still in effect.
