Post by Flazh »

Hi Fellow Members, im having a bit problems with my ftp server, i added the path, i added the ports, and everything is open, my user and pass is 100% correct, but still im getting this:

Response: 220 Multicraft 1.8.2 FTP server
Command: USER admin
Response: 331 Username ok, send password.
Command: PASS *****
Response: 530 Authentication failed.
Error: Critical error
Error: Could not connect to server

I would go over all of the settings to ensure it's not trying to use another password somewhere. The only thing 530 will mean is that username and password don't match.

Windows has an optional FTP service, but it should not be enabled by default. What you pasted indicates that you're connecting to "Multicraft 1.8.2 FTP server" and not the Microsoft service.
