UT99 Commandline

Post by Chamberly »

Hello, I'm a gamer chick and I love UT99. /Intro.

I don't have much knowledge of making a commandline without UCC (Which I think it's strange, as default UT99 install do come with UCC) and is there any tutorial can be made as the way you want it to work or add the UCC? (Thinking of something is fishy since there is no UCC.)

Also, I wish there is a Unreal Tournament 99 dedicated topic like how other got their (Cod, Bf3, etc.) so my posts won't be mixed in with many general. lol.

& However I want to change the original commandline to these:
Map=DM-Deck16][
Gametype=Botpack.DeathMatchPlus
Mutator=MapVoteLA13.BDBMapVote

Thanks.

I looks like

Code: Select all

DM-Deck16][?game=Botpack.DeathMatchPlus?mutator=MapVoteLA13.BDBMapVote
is the starting parameter than you are going to want.

I've tried that, and it didn't work. I would say the reason why it doesn't work because there is no UCC (which they are part of the UT99 default system in order to make UT99 run in commandline) and I saw this thread: http://www.nfoservers.com/forums/viewto ... =43&t=3505 and http://www.nfoservers.com/forums/viewto ... =43&t=3506 but I think somehow something isn't right here because those are UT3, and not UT99.

I feel something fishy is going on.

You have to have ucc to run a server (ucc is the server program). We rename binaries here, you can see this for yourself on the FTP. it'd be named something along these lines: exec_<youridentifier>.exe

Ok, however this has been fixed but I think something might be up.

When I inserted the commandline, it didn't work for me. I might play around a little bit more soon and provide feedback.
