I have made a team website http://jet.nuclearfallout.net and i also have http://www.teamoy.com name for the team,, is there a way to use a dns server to point the http://www.teamoy.com to the http://jet.nuclearfallout.net of my site, I have a friend that has the dns server he said i need an ip..?

you can direct it to the CNAME of hosted.nuclearfallout.net

or you can use URL forwarding as well if you have that feature from your registrar.

Email rentals@nfoe.net and John will help you with any other issues you need to host it here at NFo.

ok,, i told the dns service to direct to the jet.nuclearfallout.com and he said i had to have an ip... ?

Nope, you need to use a CNAME to hosted.nuclearfallout.net. Don't worry, your DNS provider will know what it is.

ok this cname section is asking me for host and alias

it has this

_____.teamoy.com and _________ a blank for alias

what do i put here?

It looks like it's still not set up to point directly to our server. You may have accidentally used URL forwarding instead.

[root@nuclearfallout manage]# host http://www.teamoy.com
http://www.teamoy.com. is an alias for dnsweb-prod.dedicatedns.com.
dnsweb-prod.dedicatedns.com. has address 65.109.255.10
