General Help, New server owner.

Hi,
just got a server and i have no idea how to add maps and addon. also i want the server to be TTT, so i dont have the slightest idea how to change it from default sandbox to TTT or change it any game mod, also i want to add custom rules and things like !god in sandbox. and how to ad admins, ive googled this all and cant find anything for NFO servers. thank you.

Since TTT is a stock mode in Garry's mod you can switch to it by just adding its name via the "Default game mode" box on the "Easy setup" tab in your control panel. Simple add "terrortown" and submit the page.

Adding addons is fairly easy, but configuring each addon can vary in difficulty. Generally addons just need to be placed into the "Garrysmod/addons" folder in your servers FTP. We have an FTP guide here incase you need some help getting connected.

Now along with FTP, addons can be added via the Workshop. We have a good guide on how to do that here.

Last but not least! Addons can also be added via the SVN Utility on the "Easy setup" tab in your control panel.

There are a few ways to add yourself as an admin. To make yourself a basic Garry's mod admin follow this guide.

To add yourself as a ULX admin, you'll first need to install ULX/ULib via the SVN tool in your control panel. Just select both from the drop down box and submit the page. Once installed issued this command via RCON "ulx rcon ulx adduser <name> superadmin".

On top of what kraze said, I made a collection for my server and use it as the collection for my server so it's easier to add and remove addons.
