Does NFO block ports? How can I open my ports?

Post by hiimcody1 »

We don't block ports by default with one exception: port 25 for the first two weeks of a service's life (http://www.nfoservers.com/forums/viewto ... =47&t=4579). This means that you don't have to do anything to make a port available. No special forwarding or DMZ configuration is needed.

If your service isn't accessible to the outside world, it could be that an authorized user inadvertently blocked it using the control panel's Firewall tab, or that the IP configuration has an error.
