We got a virtual server through NFO and installed Windows Server 2012 R2. We're wanting to install a Teamspeak 3 Server but can't quite figure it out. We have the server client installed and active, but we can't actually connect to the server. We had an NFO Server before but we had to get a new one because our old guy... well, nevermind.
I'm kinda in rookie mode right now, I'm not quite sure what I'm doing. lol. Any and all help will be appreciated. Thanks!
We run a ts3 on 2008 and didn't have to do anything to the firewall.
Just installed it and connected fine.
We only started the server using:
ts3server_win64.exe voice_ip=a.b.c.d
We did change our port for ts3 since it was already used by Americas Army 3.
When you try to connect to the server, try connecting by adding the port at the end and see if it makes a difference.
eg. a.b.c.d:9987
I think the default is 9987, but gametracker seems to have it as 9101.
