MapVote Problems
So, I was getting help from Charlie, and I was wondering "I have seen a lot of servers with a little menu after the map ends, and you get to choose what game mode you want to play next, then you pick a map to play next. Can someone show me how to do this? I have tried to figure out but I am clueless. Thanks." He then sent me a file that I downloaded (http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/f ... =151583504), and I downloaded it and was reading on how to get it working. I found out it automatically detects TTT and Deathrun, but not other gamemodes I want (Hide and Seek, Prophunt, Cops and Robbers, and Murder). I also didn't know how to set when someone chose a gamemode to play next, I wasn't sure how to make certain maps show up specifically for that gamemode.
To wrap things up, I need help to figure out how to make gamemodes show up in the menu and how to add specific maps to that gamemode selection if possible. Help is appreciated. Thanks!

Re: MapVote Problems
Would this fix all my problems? (Would it automatically detect all my maps and gamemodes?)theRadAleks wrote:This is the voting system i use for my servers. http://coderhire.com/browse/script/11/k ... g-solution

Re: MapVote Problems
No there is a config file that you would put the names of the maps and gamemodes you want it to have in the voting list.

Re: MapVote Problems
So I bought it and I installed it, but I can't find the file directory to find the lua config files. If you could show in what folders the file is in that would be appriciated. Thanks!

Re: MapVote Problems
There is a very well written "User Guide" for this addon available publicly if you had read the description on that link: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/345 ... 0Guide.pdfJigglyPoof wrote:So I bought it and I installed it, but I can't find the file directory to find the lua config files. Re: MapVote Problems
I added a few more maps and made the gamemodes be able to be chosen, but then it had an error message saying that there were no maps for my ttt gamemode, but I perfectly set them up. Any help?JigglyPoof wrote:Thanks everybody! Finally got it to work after tweaking the settings.
