Safe to use same root for 2 servers?

I was wondering if it was safe to use the same root for 2 servers, I wanted to have 2 servers that are essentially the same thing, same slots, synced data, bans, and everything. Using the same root seemed like the easiest way to do this. Would it cause any errors or critical errors if I attempted to do this? They also run identical IP, one is on port 27015, and other is on 27016.

Yes it is safe to run two or more servers on the same root IP.
