Help!

Post by -oAo-Chef Boyer D »

For the last 2 nights we have had the server restart on us during a match. What do I do to see what caused it?

Alright I checked the log files during the instances when it happened. It was around 7:30 P.M. and the log file is in mid sentence on my name and it just stops. No error or fatal error message nothing.

Hehe ;).

What plugins have you added or upgraded recently? Have you changed other settings?

(E-mail is probably faster in terms of responses.)

For those renters who are tuning into this thread, this is a great opportunity to learn how you should react to problems you may have with your server.

The trick is to bring them to our attention! If you don't, you will continue to have them (believe it or not) and we will be unaware of it. If you tell us about issues you have, we can help you to fix them or find some way to satisfy you.

One thing you should not do is put up with the problems for awhile and then cancel abruptly, writing to us about it afterwards. Another thing you should not do is ask us to help and then not follow up, as this individual has done. Both are highly counterproductive.

We are here to satisfy you. If that means rebuilding your server, moving you to another machine, or even moving you to another location, we will do whatever is necessary. But we must know about problems to be able to rectify them.
