ftp server/clients

Post by soulseka »

Any recommendations on a good ftp server and client? I would normally go with filezilla but they no longer support the older operating systems.

What OS are you using that is so old it isn't supported by filezilla?

If you are on Windows, IIS includes a FTP server, but I have never used it.

Use a slightly older version of the Filezilla software. You should just upgrade your OS though, if I recall, MS will stop supporting it soon.

Yeah Microsoft is ending support for Windows Server 2003 on July 14, 2015. I would migrate to Windows Server 2008 or 2012.
