Restoring Tabels for myphpadmin

Post by BDG Anonymous »

Since NFO doesnt support InnoDB tables for restoration I needed a way to restore all my things. Someone told me: You'll need to install MySQL locally. Probably using something like XAMPP since you've probably not done so before. Then import your database to the local install. Then convert the table engines. Then export the DB again.
I am using mybb forums.
Also if someone can tell me how to change the storage mechanism to MyISAM so that this wont happen again if I were to ever restore it again.

Do you already have the tables saved somewhere? Or are you trying to convert tables that you're already using on the hosting here? Or are you just trying to set up a backup system?
