Dedicating a CPU Core to a specific service.

Post by DraB »

On my vps I have a Rust server (Old Rust), Old rust only uses one cpu core.. Anyway I can dedicate it to a core with no other services running on that specific core? Was looking to branch out with new server but I feel as though im putting to much pressure on one core.

I would not recommend setting the affinity of your cores. Windows does a decent job of balancing processes around cores already, so you'll want to let it keep doing that. You'll see much better results by not overloading the CPU in general.
@Kraze^NFo> Juski has a very valid point

@Juski> You said I had a valid point! You can't take it back now! It's out there!
