How to setup a webhost?

Post by TheTurtlePlayer »

Ugh. I got a webhost and I'm struggling to configure it. I'm currently running a garry's mod server and I bought a donation module for it and It requires a webhost. In the installation tut, it doesn't explain how to setup, just where to put stuff. Here is the tutorial for it: http://wiki.prometheusipn.com/index.php ... on:website

It says to " Extract the contents of the "Web files" folder to your web server." Your web folder will be named something different depending on where you are hosted and how your server is set up, but if you are using NFO webhosting it will be a folder named public.

Just as it says in the tutorial:

Create a database using the Databases tab in your Website control panel, then edit the config file with the information required to access the database (at the top of the databases page), then navigate to http://yourwebsiteURL/install.php. This should walk you through the install steps.
