Cannot submit commands to access my server

So a couple days ago I deleted a crucial file by mistake and had to reinstall my os.

I had a Garry's Mod server running on it. I backed up the files and reuploaded it to the fresh install.

I reuploaded the files to /home where they were before.

At the beginning of service I created a user called gmodserver in which I logged in and put in commands.

I once again created this user.

Whenever typing in ./gmodserver start --- The command to start the server

It says I don't have permission


When I type in that code as root it says there is no such directory.

What do you see when you cd into home directory?

I see my server folder "gmodserver

[$atanic $pirit]

What does ls -l command say in that folder?
