How to update server?
Is the server update automatic or is there something I have to do manually?
Re: How to update server?
Rust servers are automatically updated when new updates are released. There is typically a delay of 10-20 minutes for optional builds, as the system must package the update before pushing the files to servers. Standard Rust updates take longer, as we wait for the Rust Client version to update before pushing to servers.

To that response...
Is it possible to set my server for me to control when to update? Because today there was an update then a hotfix and many people on my server were upset at the unwarned update.
And if so, how to update manually?

Re: How to update server?
In the game server list choose Rust (with all optional updates). Not sure if this replaces the original rust files or creates a separate copy of the files if you're on a managed machine. Just make a backup of your server.

Re: How to update server?
Yes, as Rust (optional) is considered a separate game in our system, it would result in a server wipe.
Re: How to update server?
Not currently :/ It's important that all customers of a specific game type remain on the same branch so we must push them out globally at the same time, but we do know that customers want to be notified when an update is pending. We're working on a system which will send a notice to servers that an update is inbound and that they should expect a restart.EnderOfHope wrote:To that response...

@Juski> You said I had a valid point! You can't take it back now! It's out there!
