Conan Exiles hosting?
I am curious as to whether or not NFO is aware of any hosting opportunities for the game Conan Exiles as it enters early access at the end of January. This game is very similar to Rust and ARK and while I haven't been able to conclude, I am under the impression that there may be a community hosted server landscape for this game. I am a current NFO customer and have been in the past and would love to harness it's services if this game offers community hosting options.
I haven't been able to confirm anything yet from Funcom but I am actively looking for answers.

Re: Conan Exiles hosting?
Actually they answer this in the FAQ on Steam.
Can I make my own server?
You can host a server on your own machine or rent one from an external company. The choice is yours.
I want to play by myself, locally. Can I do that?
Yes you can. Just host a local game on your computer and you're good to go.

Confirmation in a blog post.

Does not look as is there will be a Steamcmd version for the release and you have to own a copy of the game to get the server. For some reason they chose a really crappy GSP to be there go to company to host.

According to some responses in this reddit post, there are other gsp now getting involved.

I guess my real question is will NFO offer Conan server hosting?

would also like to know about this. Very interested in this game and love your hosting!
Re: Conan Exiles hosting?
We'll definitely be looking at this. If it's something that anyone can host, and it's based on UE4 or Unity like other open world building-oriented games, then it should be doable.

I hope you can add support for this and DoW quickly
Re: Conan Exiles hosting?
This looks like potentially the next Ark Survival kind of game as far as popularity goes. Game is EA but hits all the marks for hosting. I am having an issue with the server binding to an IP, but it is supposed to be do-able. I will keep looking into game. Server is a bit of a resource hog. 3.5 gigs RAM when you launch and server is empty. Worth a look.

Re: Conan Exiles hosting?
I'll likely have this added by the end of the day. One thing I'm still looking at is memory consumption -- I see that it has a memory leak, and I want to see how bad it is overnight.
As with Ark, the main factor in pricing for this game will probably be memory consumption. That will also be the resource that customers bump into most often when creating servers on their machines/VDSes.

Re: Conan Exiles hosting?
Tentatively added now, at Ark price points, as it seems to be similar to Ark (it uses a bit more memory at start, actually, but doesn't leak as much memory while running).
