Hurricane Harvey

Post by squirrelof09 »

Should we be concerned about the data center in Dallas while the hurricane threat is near? I know new york had some issues last year, flooding, generators.

How is the building set up in Dallas? A potential for flooding to occur there?

Obviously always a good idea to keep backups!

The current projection is about that it's only going to get halfway to San Antonio before turning around towards the coast, then north east to Houston, about 3 hours from Dallas.

We don't expect an impact from the storm on our Dallas location.

Thanks, I guess I thought at first Dallas was closer to the coast. Oops.
