What's the difference between the 2 options for Ark when renting a server?

The standard Ark offering will receive only major releases of Ark.
The optional updates version of Ark will receive each and every release of Ark.
Some people prefer the stability of less frequent updates and therefore interruptions; while others like living on the edge. We like to try an accommodate both when we can
