On the page https://www.nfoservers.com/virtual-dedi ... entals.php - the link "Ultrafast INAP or better bandwidth" is a 404 error
Re: 404
Other "minor but useful fix" (I was told to post on this forum topic for such things):
Currently, if you move a server's region while its still in the middle of setting it up, it corrupts the hard drive, fixable only by reinstalling the OS. This of course is common sense, but to make it foolproof, it should maybe be that you cant change the servers configurations while its still setting up

Re: 404
What kind of server are you referencing? This shouldn't be a problem with a VDS, since all other actions are firmly locked while it is being set up.
Re: 404
Yes, but the order page checks for the same lock, as does the control panel page to trigger it. The script that does the actual move also checks the lock. It shouldn't be the case that a move happens while an action that was triggered through our system is going on.
If a customer were rebooting the VDS from inside the OS as that person triggered a move, that could potentially cause a problem, though.

Re: 404
I would have to investigate your specific case further. As a general rule, this shouldn't be possible, and my testing hasn't been able to reproduce a move occurring while a creation or other action is in progress (any action that would show a message on the "Server control" page).

On page https://www.nfoservers.com/webhosting.php mousing over "Provided subdomain" will show the following text:
However as of a few months ago HTTPS for these subdomains has now been enabled (via Let's Encrypt, EV would likely not be possible). So you may want to remove this text.
P. S. in this post Edge100x writes that he is "not sure if [subdomain https] is intentional" which may indicate it is a mistake and may be removed soon. If that is the case I apologize and am sad to see it go. But hopefully it is intentional and may stick around.
Code: Select all
Note that subdomains do not support https (SSL/TLS) -- you must supply your own domain to use encryption.

New bug I found. Query strings break page titles:
https://www.nfoservers.com/order-virtual-dedicated-server.php title is "Order a Virtual Dedicated Server"
https://www.nfoservers.com/order-virtual-dedicated-server.php? title is just the default "The highest performance. Guaranteed." which shows when there is nothing else to load in

Re: 404
https://www.nfoservers.com/order-virtua ... server.php has another error. Setting a managed VDS to Linux will not make the BF3/BF4 slots disappear immediately, but dragging the core slider will. They're likely meant to disappear immediately, unless it *does* run on Linux in which case it shouldn't disappear at all
