Rolling access / error log deletions

Post by Naleksuh »

Today I wanted to check for a specific access 2 days ago, only to remember that NFO deletes the access / error log on the first day of a new month. This is likely because disk space is not free, however, could you consider rolling deletions to ensure that nothing that is less than a month old is deleted, instead of being unable to access something only 2 days ago on the first day of a new month?

We compress and move the logs at the beginning of each month. If you need access to a log that you do not see, you will need to open a support request and have us work on restoring it for you manually.

Perhaps you could allow users to maybe download the log files for the last month before the new one starts, in case they might want to. Just a suggestion anywho.
