My VPN being blocked by games

Post by Dingle »

Hello,

I have been running a VPN on my VDS using Wireguard for a while and it has been working quite well. Unfortunately some games manage to block my VPN from their games so I cannot play. Are they just blocking NFO's IPs ranges or is there something else? I have been trying to get around these blocks for sometime but I cannot seem to figure out how to bypass these blocks on some gameservers. I've tried Wireguard, OpenVPN, Softether, I have used port 443, 51820 and some other random ports to see if that'll work, but nothing seems to work. I would hate to have to keep turning off my VPN just to play. Any ideas to get around these blocks or am I out of luck?

I have not heard of our IP ranges being blocked overall. I would recommend contacting them and asking if you are blocked, and why.

Suddenly, when I tried to play Lost Ark, it wouldn't let me in due to a server issue, but I recently learned that VPN had been blocked. So, goodbye, Lost Ark won't be played; oh well, good bye, world.
