Just curious if there has actually been 6 updates to CS2 today? My CS2 server on my managed VDS has received 6 events today for an update.

I see five CS2 updates today. Three of them were very small just changed a couple of library files.

rustydusty1717, yes, that does show five on 11/16, which matches what I saw and reported. There was another on 11/17 (yesterday, the day after you posted).

There were also updates on 11/13, 11/8, 11/3, 11/2 (twice), 10/31, 10/26, 10/25 (twice), 10/20, 10/19, 10/17, 10/13, 10/12, 10/11, 10/10, 10/9 ... CS2 updates frequently, and sometimes multiple times a day. 11/16 had possibly the highest number in one day, and I hope we don't see five again, but if we do, you'll be covered. We just roll with the punches.
