Vac Version?

How can you check what version of vac your server is running? I'd like to know if it's being updated automatically or not.

I've had cheaters caught. But, they were never banned by vac.

As far as I know, you can't. But I've never heard of anyone having difficulty with the VAC not updating, ever ;)
