i do plan on ocing 2700k to 4 gigs. not planning on really overstressing it as i only play cs. i have been flirting with the idea of getting two gtx 580's but cannot justify. i do however use autocad quite often and i dont know if i would benefit from having two vs 1
You got a decent build there and the 2700K wont let you down, personally I would go with this motherboard. It is expensive but it is an amazing board;

Everything else looks like a really solid build. Personally I would get that 2700K to 4.5GHz, I have mine running at that without no voltage changes at all. Simple ratio changes.

Also have you looked in to CPU cooling? That stock fan for that Intel sucks. Corsair A50 or A70 is what I recommend for decent air cooling.

I just purchased a Phenom X4 9550 for $25 on ebay :lol:

It's upgrading an Athlon X2 6000+ in my NAS. Software I'm running is multithreaded, so the extra cores will work wonderfully when doing image back ups :wink: . Laugh if you will!
