heh... what kind of internet conn you have?

EDIT: i have 56k and what helped me get rid of that error (it use to happen after about 20 mins of play and just cs would quit), the way i fixed it was by deleting this thing called QoS packet scedualer or sumptin its in your internet connect propertys....im not saying to do it or not do it, just saying that it worked for me (so if it screws up your conn it aint my falt)

And to confirm, you are getting the exact same WSAEINVAL error that the other individual was getting?

Also make sure that you are running the latest service pack and drivers for your hardware.

When you disabled the firewall, did you try uninstalling it completely?
