Server Not Filling? Try THIS!! (BF3)

I have over 14 people on over 30 minutes...no action at all.

If so, is there anyone in the neutral area?

Your server is probably locked like ours where it stops more people from joining, but they are trying and can't get in.

My server crashed or something around 1:30 AM? Or people just continually left.. but now it's virtually empty since then and no one is joining.. I've tried with the auto maxplayer changer and without, nothing.

I have myself and a clan mate in there right now too, so it's 2/8..

this is wierd. Using the auto incrimenter thing... my 64 got full and stayed full all night... But it only shows 32 on gametracker and procon... its on conquestlarge

I found out that GameTracker won't "update" the slot count if you set it to say, ConquestSmall on the initial booting of the server.

For example, if you have a 64 slot (like you said) and run ConquestSmall it will show 32 players. Once you are at 32 players, and run ConquestLarge, it will still say 32 players.

I ran one my Conquest server as a TeamDeathmatch server for a little while, and it would say "24/24" instead of 32/32 when everyone was in there. Mostly because of EA's "limits" on players in those game modes, albeit the limits are not actual limits. It's all a part of the query bug they are aware of.

The game itself actually has a glitch with slot counts. In queries, it will return 24 as the maximum for TDM servers and 32 as the maximum for Rush servers, even though TDM actually supports 32 and Rush actually supports 64. You'll see this bad data reflected on our Status page and graphs, as well, because we use what the game tells us.

OMFG! HEY, anyone here that is easily able to refill your server having crashes every couple of hours now? Mine is doing that to me right now and I have changed nothing. This is just starting to PISS me off!

I'm starting to think that there is an outside factor to these crashes since it is happening sooo frequently now! I'm thinking that the EA backend might be f***ing with our servers somehow. Anyone else thinking this too?

OH! As I am typing this, I am just now remembering that I saw somewhere, an exploit that causes server crashes. Does anyone else recall seeing something like this? I kind of just dismissed it without researching more about it like I probably should have...

I believe it was something about helicopters firing rockets, were causing the crash. It was a little specific but in a game like BF3 I am sure it happens often.

How in the hell are you guys even getting your games to show in Gametracker? Every time I try to add my server, it tells me it cant query the server. And yes I entered the right IP and port.

Are you sure you are using the rcon port?

I may wrong but I think the main issues at this point is THERE ARE WAY TO MANY SERVERS.
