Hi,I don't mind buying webhosting from NFO since it's only $2.99/month but can I get all my servers screenshots on it from my VDS?
Yes you can dapriest. The big debate here is that there is no link to give to people so anyone can see it.

This is purposely done, so it does not cause performance issues for other servers during peak hours.Although it generates a web page were we can access the screen shots, it will only automatically sync the screen shots at 5 AM each morning.
Makes sense, We are working on a new way of allowing customers access to there screen shots. The only way to manually sync the screen shots is for someone to have access to the NFO Control Panel.
Not all of our Clan Members have access to the CP - we don't want them to..
Unfortunately it's not that easyIf EA says we are allowed access to the folder - why don't you just give us access?

.=QUACK=.Major.Pain, I feel though as every time you post you keep forgetting that we are not restricting you from viewing your screen shots at all. It is just not as easy as you and some other people would like it to be. We also make them even easier to be accessed by customers with webhosting. However when it came to VDS/dedis it did get overlooked. As me and John have said in previous replies he is working on making it easier all around. However nothing happens overnight and we need time to get everything going.I don't know how long you guys have been in business, but I can't believe that in all this time you guys seem to be the only company that has never made SS's available as the other do so that anti-cheat tools can be used as they were intended to work.
It is not that easy. We do not have a button that we press and enables FTP for users. It is just simply not there. It needs to be created and set up with our systems. So if we were going to do it for you, then we might as well do it for our entire customers base. As I said above, things take time and we will work on it.I understand you now have to figure out how to make this option available for all Punkbuster related games for many many servers, but couldn't you at this time do it by request?
This is entirely possible but it is not a click the button and were set type of deal. Decent amount of work needs to be put fourth in it.I don't know much about the working of VDS and dedi servers, but can't you setup a ftp user for access to the pb/svss/ folders? Is this not possible?
Well we are just trying to be honest. Most of the things you guys suggest are planned and being worked on, but most of the things our customers suggest are not easy and take time. John is the only one that can do these things. When someone asks for something or makes a suggestion, the canned response is "we are working on it" or it is on "Johns to do list" etc etc
We don't run out of space very often but occasionally it does happen. We are usually pretty fast about it and have machines usually dispatched to said data center ahead of time. However it does happen. It is not very beneficial to set up a list, when things will be back in stock on within days usually. Also some people prefer to just check Facebook or Twitter and ask when stock is back. Sometimes our system can still take orders when while sold out. Sometimes there is space and sometimes it will have a que, waiting for new machines.I still can't believe that as an existing customer, if we wanted to add a new server in a location that is currently unavailable, we need to monitor your facebook page for some sort of announcement instead NFO just creating a "waiting list"???????

Actually, since our 64 slot server randomly crashes every couple of hours - I surveyed the top 15 servers listed in GameTracker to see which provider is being used by them. By doing a reverse IP - two GSP's are clearly are on top of things and sadly it is not NFO.Edge100x wrote:
GitSum, being told that something is being worked on is a good thing. This is not equivalent to blowing you off, if that's what you're thinking. Customer input is appreciated and absorbed, then applied to make our systems better.
Waiting lists for availability are rarely needed because locations are generally reopened rapidly after they are temporarily closed due to space limitations. If you would like an ETA on when you should look back at the order page for a particular service, I'd be happy to provide one.
