Procon Layer, File server, file manager

Post by Nord.Kind »

I was wondering what the file manager is for.

I have access to the server via a file manage but as far as I am informed there is no procon layer.

My question is, what is the file manager for if not for loading files on the procon layer server.

Do plugins I load onto the file server run on the server? (folder structure: Plugins/BF3)

Am I missing sth?

Best regards!

The file manager tab serves much less of a purpose since most files for EA games cannot be accessed, but we still offer it for specific game files such as your startup.txt, banlist and PB related files.

If you want to host a Procon layer here, you need an unmanaged windows server.
Or host somewhere else.

You can also do it for $9.99 with a Linux VDS and Mono, I believe, but I haven't tried it myself.
