When my friends and I play competitive style on CSGO, we are each assigned a color. Now when I play my server, we are not assigned any colors. however, a while back, my buddy and my brother were telling me that they were excited when suddenly the colors showed up on the server. a few days after, they were disabled again. I do not know how this happened at all, is there a solution to get the colors assigned to the players?

Thanks for contacting us today. Are you referring to the colors within the radar display in CS:GO?

Please ensure they enter the following command via the console in-game:
cl_teammate_colors_show 1
This will ensure colors are enabled.

oh.. ensure THEY enter that.. well, I still tried that anyway, but got onthing. it works for me in competitive play, but it doesnt work in my server.

Can you please test setting this in your autoexec.cfg file, also?

I placed that text in my local autoexec.cfg, I got no results.

Try having someone playing on the server enter the console command "cl_color 1".

Actually from what I am seeing this seems to only be supported on ten player servers for some reason, it's possible that the feature just hasn't been implemented for more than 5v5.

i set the server to 10 slots and still no results.

This definitely is odd. You may want to post on our forums at www.nfoservers.com/forums and a community member, off duty support tech or even John, our CEO, would be able to reply with advice.
