bbc toolbar

my SMF site doesnt have a bbc toolbar and i was woundering how i get one installed and working since i tried already and failed.
I want users to be able to put smiles and bbcode with the push of a button

this didnt work for me

SMF should have one by default, though, you may need to enable/configure it. If you login to your forum as an administrator and go to "Forum" then "Post and Topics" you should see an option to enable and configure BBC.

ive tried everything i can think of so that i can make the tool bar work but it wont.

you can manually do bbc but i dont have any buttons people can use to easily put bbc in like this forums for instance
