can anybody go through a tutorial to help me install source bans?

Have you seen their official installation guide? If not, definitely recommend taking a look at it. http://www.sourcebans.net/manual/ I've used it a few times without issues.

yes i have but i been having troubles with the web_upload folder any ways to fix?

i cant put sourcebans in because there is no web_upload folder

That means the folder from which your website will be read. Probably something like public, html, or public_html. If you have one of those folders upload sourcebans to that folder.

In the same folder as phpmyadmin - not in the phpmyadmin folder.
