How to connect to my server?

ok so i installed my filezilla servers and install the usrs and group and etc basically im done with that part how would i connect to my server now after i installed mycustom files how do i get on my server now after all that?

Are you attempting to connect to a game server hosted on the virtual server, or are you attempting to connect to the virtual server remotely?

i am trying to connect to it remotely from remote desktop application. I need to know how to start up the server so people or my self can get on

You would use the server IP to connect remotely after opening the Remote Desktop Connection tool in Windows. After you enter in the server IP and click "Connect", you'll be prompted for a user name and password which should be listed on the Server Control tab of the control panel.

When you say you want to "start up the server", do you mean you're attempting to launch a game server?
