How do I find a hidden file?

By default, most FTP clients hide files without a name. For instance, .htaccess is a file with no name, and only a file extension (htaccess). These FTP clients will have an option to show hidden files, which must be enabled. In FileZilla, you can find the "Force showing hidden files" option under the Server menu.
