DoD:S Server Config

Post by Loading... »

Hello everyone,

I'm looking for a good Day of Defeat Source server.cfg.
I'm pretty new in all this stuff hope you can help me ?

The game server is running on a VDS with :

Two virtual CPU cores
2048 MB of RAM
200 GB of RAID-protected storage
12000 GB of bandwidth transfer

Running on Ubuntu 19.10
and installed DoD:S Server from Linux GSM

Hope this information can help :)

If you followed the default LinuxGSM install and copied settings from _default.cfg to dodsserver.cfg (or common.cfg) inside your LGSM config folder, you may have to use dodsserver.cfg in the game config folder instead of server.cfg.

LinuxGSM Config Folder
/home/user/lgsm/config-lgsm/dodsserver/

Game Config Folder
/home/user/servercontent/dods/

Here is a website with a basic .cfg file for DoD:S.
http://www.dodbits.com/dods/index.php/s ... -servercfg

Cheers!

If you need LinuxGSM specific support please use the LinuxGSM discord.

P.S. You may want to update Ubuntu if you aren't using that one for a specific reason.
19.10 is not a LTS(Long-Term Support) release and is only supported until July 2020.
18.04 is supported until April 2023.
20.04 released this month and is supported until April 2025.
