FileZilla Server

Post by suki »

I've followed the guide at: viewtopic.php?f=46&t=8540

But whenever I connect from my own computer, it gives me this error:

Response: 425 Can't open data connection for transfer of "/"
Error: Failed to retrieve directory listing

I have not used Filezilla Server in a long long time, but I do believe this one REQUIRED you to forward a port range on the local level to be able to access the FTP server,

Here is some more information on the problem I THINK you are having https://forum.filezilla-project.org/vie ... hp?t=24925

(You don't have the ports forwarded in your router, so the FTP Client is unable to receive the directory listing)

Port forwarding is not necessary (or possible) on NFo servers, due to the lack of NAT. Instead you have a dedicated IP and all ports are open, so there is no port forwarding.
