The PBO format is just like any other container format (ZIP/RAR) and is used in Arma 3 to contain the mission files. This article will guide you through the process of unpacking and re-packing .pbo's.

1. Download and install PBO manager via the link above.
2. Using your preferred FTP client, connect to your server's FTP using the credentials listed on the "File Manager" tab in your control panel.

3. Navigate to your Missions folder, the default location is "/MPMissions/", and download the desired mission file.
4. Once downloaded, right-click on the file and scroll down to "PBO Manager" then select the "Extract to <mission file name>" option to extract the contents of the .pbo into its own folder.
5. Edit the mission files to your liking.
6. To repack the files right-click on the folder containing your mission files, scroll down to "PBO Manager" and then select the "Pack into <mission file name>" option.
7. Now that the mission files are re-packed into a PBO, you can upload it to the "/MPMissions/" folder and use the updated mission file.
