ping accelerator question

I recently upgraded from a 14 to a 20 slot server with the ping accelerator and cpu priority options. It seems that the ping/latency has actually gone up since the upgrade by 10-20. Im not the only one whos noticed this. Im in Alaska, but even some Washington players have mentioned it. Is there anything we can look at?? Im on a cable modem so maybe its just affecting us on cable...
Now my ping fluctutes from 70-100 where before it seem to hover between 60-80. More than likely its the ISP on my end. My connection speed is 1500k/256k
Any recommendations would be appreciated.

Have you check the rates for you client machine. We describe this in our lag faq on the rental website. The rates are very important with accelerated servers.
