does enable logging for css server cause any lag?

i was wondering if logging is enabled will it cause more lag? Since its logging everything. You guys inserted log 1 in my cs: s server config i found out that its log on. so i changed it to that

Logging should not affect lag in any noticable way.

Just to note, 'log 1' and 'log on' do the same thing

And in a historical note, when CS:S first came out, 'log on' didn't work, which is why we use 'log 1' instead.

yea i switched it back to log 1 cuz i found out it was working.
