CS:S leagues and ladders

Post by ||§§||TheSaint »

Hey guys I am looking for some CS:S leagues and ladders for my clan to join. I'm sure there are many out there but for some reason I am having a difficult time finding them. The only two so far that I have found that seem to have a decent amount of teams playing are http://www.teamwarfare.com and http://www.worldogl.com The problem with TWL is that the times don't work for us since the latest match time they have for the 5v5 ladder is 7pm PST and most of us don't get of work until after that. So I am just in the process of looking now and would appreciate anyones feedback as to what leagues are worth joining and are preferrably West Coast based but if not that's OK.

There's always CALeague, thats the biggest.
The season is underway though, so you would have to wait for the next season to roll around. http://caleague.com/?division=csso

I am aware of CAL and am just looking for a ametuer league for us to use as an extended form of practice before we join CAL-O. So if anyone knows of any other leagues with late match times I would greatly appreciate the info.

What is wrong with OGL? I have no idea so plz inform me. And I looked at the link you gave me and there looks to be very few teams participating so I don't know if that will work since I would like to have a well rounded number of teams to play against.

OGL (last i played in it) was known to be full of hackers, cheaters, and exploiters, and the administrators of it did nothing about it. If you want to start small I do suggest NEL (National E-sports League), I've never heard of teamwarfare, and if you want to hop into the most competative leage go with CAL

Gah, I just found that there's an entrance fee per-player on NES...I don't suggest it now, that's why it's #'s are so low, now I'm just saying go with CAL, but practice for this season, then enter the next.
