Statsme 2.8 Update

Current list of confirmed changes/enhancements to 2.8. Note that we're winding down 2.8 development, though no release date has been pegged.


FIXED {.a} references, which was impacting certain values (such damage, etc) in kill.cfg, among other scripts.
FIXED announcement parsing, which was causing client overflows.
FIXED the failure to record pipebomb kills in TFC

ADDED ability to apply score punishment to those not running C-D.
ADDED ability to globally turn off announcements/etc for clan wars.
ADDED suicide tracking
ADDED ability to save announcement flags to the log. This will allow deactivated announcements to stay deactivated across server restarts (though not execing the particular script is still the preferred method).
ADDED ping spike measurements, to enhancement high ping monitoring
ADDED ability to import and report on PsychoStats stats
ADDED 'SmartHUD' technology, which greatly simplifies the placement of HUD messages and eliminates message collision/overlay.


Still working on the bomb countdown issue and sounds conking out across mapchanges.

Looking good for all of us. All of the bugs known are being fixed :)

I've been using StatsMe v2.8.0.7 for about 3 weeks. Runs great. I picked it up on U.A. Forums.
