Windows Priority
In the Task Manager, does setting priority (Realtime, High, Normal, Low, etc.)for processes help at all? If so, how?
Re: Windows Priority
Yes, I recommend setting the priority for the game server processes above others, so that as you work on the machine, you won't disturb the game servers as much.
You can either change it there, through the task manager, or through the method that you are using to start the server. With FireDaemon, for instance, you can set the priority through one of its service pages, or if you are starting through a shortcut/the command line, you'd just need to use the "start" command, as I did in the CS:S guide: http://www.nfoservers.com/forums/viewto ... =46&t=4107
