was wondering if any one new a name of a program that would auto start your hlds (windows 2008) when you type quit of even wne you restart the box its a .exe and you add the target line in, ive used it before but forgot the name of it if anyone knows please let me know thanks

Hi guy/girls,

Firedaemon and Serverdoc are both popular choices for doing this sort of thing.

There is also server checker http://www.dumbclan.co.uk/downloads/serverchecker/ It's free and while it lacks a few features its a really nice product overall in my opinion

I love it, every time my server restarts also checks for auto updates, I love firedaemon because of the support and reliability of the program.

Serverdoc you can set it up to check for updates everytime the server crashes. One of the advantages of linux, just add -autoupdate in the command line and never have to worry about updating.
