AMX?

Post by buffy »

Tried emailing this, but for some reason my email server rejects "rentals@nuclearfallout.net"

We were thinking about installing amx. We can have someone do this for us, but your website states that you guys can put it on also. Would this be free of charge?

Yes, Nuclear Fallout's supported mods that are optional with the server's original configuration can be added free of charge, if rentals@nuclearfallout.net doesn't work you'll need to wait for Edge or To'mas to get on. There are other people that help with problems or installations like this such as Acura, he may be willing to do that for you.

Edge will probably check this forum again by tomorrow, post which account is yours and what you want done so he knows what to do by the time he checks it please ;)

ya well I need the password as well for your control panel. Unlike to_mas and edge, I dont have the passes or root access

I would recommend changing your email account to somethign different, so that you can receive emails from us, because updates on the servers are sent out.

Anyways, use a diff account and send off email to rentals@nuclearfallout.net and tell them to change it to your new one.

Nick out.

i have heard you can use both adminmod & amx together, but it is not recommended because of stability issues. in that case, could i just remove the exec to adminmod on my config file? or do i have to remove the entire folder

heres what I would do, if you ever wanted to use adminmod in the future.

comment out the exec line for adminmod in server.cfg using "//" before the line.

then go to metamod/plugins.ini and do the same to the adminmod line with "//" again in front of it.

restart the server and you should be set, amx only running :)
