lo3.cfg help

We just got a NFo server yesterday and we cannot set up a lo3.cfg i got my friends lo3.cfg and tried to upload it it works on his GamersCove but it wont work on our NFo can someone please show me a download or help me?

A working lo3 script depends on the machine you are on and what provider you are using. I know when we've switched machines and from verio to level 3 and then to ping accelerated, each time we've had to adjust our lo3 script. Mainly it is the number of waits required that needs to be adjusted. Here is the lo3 script we use, and make sure you have cal.cfg loaded on your server:

alias "wait10" "wait; wait; wait; wait; wait; wait; wait; wait; wait; wait"
alias "wait50" "wait10; wait10; wait10; wait10; wait10"

yeah we have a level3 pingaccelerated server and i was becoming sad because we like to scrim but i have to admin this and rcon that

well if you are in CAL....

you would get a lo3.cfg in your calserver zip from their file list.

If not, default cal and cpl is 1, 1 and 3

Some people change it to like 1, 3, 3 or what not, you DO NOT want something high like 10, it wastes time, basically stupid.

heres one question, is this lo3 config for you on your side?, meaning that it will be in your cstrike directory.

Or will the config be on the server in the main directory there?

This is a big question, because commands vary or whatnot.

Also, just a hint, csays will not work well for lo3, as if you know its timelimits, the words dont stay there, then if you have another command, it goes over it immediately.

I personally will use rcon, and use its says, works the best, and keeps stacking up in words.

on the servers main directory. I saw it say LIVE !!!! LIVE !!!!!! LIVE!!!!! in csay in a demo, and was wondering how to do it. thx

well server side configs can probably do it

might have to put admin_command before the command.

admin_csay LIVE!!! LIVE!!!! LIVE!!!!

personally I dont like csays, tsays are better, up to you.

lo3 cfg and cal cfg: on the server side were would i place this two items?
and what would be the command to to execute the cfgs?

you place them in the main directory

admin_rcon exec cal.cfg or exec lo3.cfg

or you can do admin_cfg cal.cfg or lo3.cfg
