BF3 Server on VDS

So reading your post, can I assume your saying:

With VDS:

1 core:
1 - 32 slot

2 core:
2 - 32 slot
1 - 52 slot(max on week processor)
1 - 64 slot(strong processor)

3 core:
3 - 32 slot
1 - 52 slot(max on week processor) & 2 - 32 slot
1 - 1 - 64 slot(strong processor) & 2 - 32 slot

4 core:
4 - 32 slot
2 - 52 slot(max on week processor)
2 - 64 slot(strong processor)


Am I in the ballpark with my estimates? Knowing you are doing your best with your estimates from the beta.

Also, can I assume that BFBC2 uses less resources than BF3?

Yes, those are about right.

BC2 seems to use about the same resources as BF3.

Do you know if it's like BF2, where if you play 32 slots, the maps are reduced and the vehicles are not available?

From what I have seen it is not like that. However the maps are split up in to sectors like BC2. Once the objective is completed you move on to another part of the map.

That would be the way in rush, but wondering if the conquest amps reduce in size to the number of slots the server is.
