How do I disable BattlEye? Where is it located?

Post by Edge100x »

To disable BattlEye:
  1. Turn off your server through the "Server control" page.
  2. On the "File manager" page, load the "./server.cfg" file.
  3. Look for the line "BattlEye = 1;" and change the "1" to a "0". If you can't find this line in your file, add it to the end.
  4. Click "Save".
  5. Re-visit the "Server control" page and turn back on your server.
For ArmA2, the BattlEye source folder is "BattlEye" in your server FTP (information on how to use the FTP is located on the "File manager" page). For ArmA2:OA, it's "Expansion/BattlEye". However, on BattlEye's first run, it downloads the latest version and creates a new folder of cfg/BattlEye, which is used to hold the BEServer.dll and any other BE files from that point forward. BattlEye bans will be saved to the "bans.txt" file within this folder, and if you need to specially configure BattlEye, you can do so by creating/editing "BEServer.cfg" there.

More information on BattlEye can be found on the official BattlEye website and in the unofficial BattlEye section of the community-run wiki.
