How do I wipe everything!

Hi. I have tried a few forum programs and found one I like. Before I continue to use it I would like to wipe EVERYTHING and do a fresh install. How do I do this so EVERYTHING is back to like its day 1?

Just delete the folder that has the current forums in it. If you want everything deleted then delete everything in the public folder. There really isn't a "fresh install" since the web hosting is already hosted for you. If you were on a VDS it would be a whole other story.

You can also wipe your database or delete them too.

Will my server, lets say run faster If I bought another hosting deal? Like I do not understand if there are still "junk" files in the background after I delete the public folder.

If you delete using the "File manager" page, it should take care of everything for you.

It should not speed up your files to have old files deleted.

okay thanks. I was just concerned because in total I probably installed forum software's and deleted and recreated databases a good 8-10 times. But as long as nothing is slower. I will now delete file manager and my public folder. Is there anyway to delete my access and event log?

Those control panel tabs show permanent logs that cannot be deleted for security reasons.
